Bill Broddy is 1 of 5 recieving Master Electronic Document Professional (E-EDP) designation from Xplor. This is the first year that one can attain this level within the profession. Bill is one of 5 being recognized.
To apply for the M-EDP designation, an individual must meet these minimum eligibility criteria:
• Must be a current EDP in good standing
• Must provide an outline of contributions to electronic document industry which include:
o Examples of contributing to the electronic document industry above your regular job duties
o Resume with validation/justification on your area of expertise within the electronic document industry. Some examples include: Requirements Gathering, Development, Production, Maintenance, Composition, Print Management, Archive, and Print Technology.
o Three to four page brief displaying the proof that you are recognized as an expert in the electronic document industry on a specific subject matter or expert in a particular skill set (area of expertise).
o Supporting documentation to confirm your proof of expertise. Some examples include: Developing courses for professional CEU credits, White papers, Articles, Research, or XDU Class Instructor.
• Must be currently active in the industry
• Must have recertified as an EDP once and have a minimum of 15 years in industry
OR
• Must have accumulated 300 recertification credits in previous 10 years
